Ramblings from another nerd on the grid
Last week, Archos rolled out the first product of their next generation portable media players. These guys just keep making some of the kewlest PMP's on the market. I prefer the 4.3" screen size because the players within that category are still generally small, thin and light. Examples include the Sony PSP, Creative Zen Vision W and of course the Archos 6 series.

Apparently they are going to sell a 30, 80 and 160GB version of this PMP. 160GB ? Wow, that's like 140 ripped DVD's. Supposedly the 160GB fat boy is going to sell for about $399. Let's see, you could buy the 80GB iPod Video with the teeny tiny screen, or the 160GB Archos 605 for $50 bucks more. Unless you MUST have iTunes, that would seem like a no brainer.
