Interesting question. One of the most vivid memories during my youth were the field trips to Jones Hall in Houston to see and hear the wonderful concerts. Gotta love those kettle drums.

Of course that was immediately followed by the field trips to go see Ted Nugent.

Later, those field trips turned into road trips for Willies Picnic, The Texas Jam, SXSW, and other culture.

My hearing and sight have suffered ever since... :?)
