    Hi all :

    Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012 was RTM , many people may hope deploy Windows 8 in their company . Now System Center 2012 Configuration Manager SP1 beta can support Windows 8 .

    In this post , I will to show how to use System Center 2012 Configuration Manager SP1 Beta to deployment Windows 8 .

    Including these parts:

  • Configuring a Distribution Point to Support PXE
  • Capturing a Reference Computer
  • Preparing the Site to Support Operating System Deployment
  • Deploying an Operating System Image to a Bare Metal Client
  • Installing the Operating System Image on a Bare Metal System

  • Many thanks for detailed install notes.  I was able to learn and deploy win 8 entp successfully.  I followed your notes to install sccm 2012 on server 2012 with sql 2012 as well.

    There is no SCCM2012 product ,please call it System Center 2012 Configuration Manager or CM2012. :)

  • Hello Justin, Does syster center 2012 WP apps avaiable? cause the apps abt Syster center on WP apps so limited. Thx

  • I am getting an error when trying to open the document.  I have tried both Save As...and using Internet Explorer to open it directly but get the error.
