DST is about to start.

So what is this all about - well if you have ever had issues with British Summer Time and the extra week in October that skews all your calendar appointments then this is about to kick off in  the US.

Daylight saving time (DST) will be extended in the United States. DST will start on March 11, 2007, which is three weeks earlier than usual, and it will end on November 4, 2007, which is one week later than usual. This results in a new DST period that is four weeks longer than in previous years.

So does this mean anything to me in Europe, well theory if you have no dealings with the US and all your servers are based in Non US territories it will be all fine and dandy.

But make sure you do not fall into any of the following scenarios - if for example you go to the US and create appointments with someone in the US in that Time zone but do not have the  updates the likelihood is  that they will be wrong.

To be sure that you do not have any issue I recommend that you read the following and take the appropriate action.
