The new Microsoft logo is here. What do you think?
Read all about it at http://blogs.technet.com/b/microsoft_blog/archive/2012/08/23/microsoft-unveils-a-new-look.aspx
See it in use at http://microsoft.com.
It lacks quality.
Very disappointing...obviously a group overly impressed with themselves.
logos must be simple and effective, so this one clearly reflects the companys new design (even though its too minimalistic for my taste), same as the new UI design in all their products. But who cares, we always (have to) eat what MS cooks, nothing you can do about it. In worst case after 2-3 years they always "re-invent" the wheel and switch to an "even better" design, lets hope that one will be something different (better or worse, will see).
