Among the "details" that are yet undefined are the presentation topics. We have, however, defined that we are going to have three diverse target audiences: Technical Decision Makers (early morning), IT Professionals (late morning) and Developers (afternoon).

We are now working to define the topics and these are the short lists that we came up with:

  • Dynamic Systems Initiative (DSI)
  • Services-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
  • Why (and how) to become a Microsoft Partner

For IT Pros:

  • Windows Platform Roadmap: Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server “R2” e Windows “Longhorn”
  • Windows Server 2003 Security Tools: Firewall, IPSec, SCW, MBSA, SUS, SMS, ISA
  • Microsoft Virtualization Solutions
  • Digital Certificates: Overview and Implementation

For Developers:

  • .NET Roadmap: Visual Studio .NET 2003 with .NET Framework 1.1, Visual Studio 2005 with .NET 2.0 and Visual Studio “Orcas” with WinFX
  • .NET Platform Overview, including demonstration on how to create Windows Forms apps, Web apps and Web Services
  • Windows Server 2003 as an Application Server, including IIS6 Architecture
  • XML Support in SQL Server 2005
