I have a need to take the custom document information panel to another level by customizing the document information panel for a document that is part of a SharePoint 2010 Document Set.
I have a Document Set content type with a document content type. The "shared meta data" does display for the document while viewing from the Document Set "Welcome Page.
But, when I open the document I do not see the Shared Meta Data in the Document Information Panel.
Is there a way to see this Shared Document Set meta data from within the Document Information Panel.
