It turns out that someone decided my blog was a good place to post ads for online pharmacies, gambling, and all that other stuff that we apparently do not

re: Why your comments no longer automatically show

Great post, explained really well and I could really understand. Which gives their site a better ranking in turn.

Which doesn't make it any less annoying, but at least understandable.

re: Why your comments no longer automatically show

I still shake my head that ... in some strange way blog spam works... I mean obviously they still keep doing it so it must work, right?

Now when I'm looking for a vendor... the fact that a vendor either sets up a fake blog or posts blog spam just isn't a reason that I'm convinced to buy from that vendor.

The ones that drive me crazy are the blog spam posts that I can't get off the blog and they get stuck in the database.

Excuse me.. I gotta go clean some more off.. just got a notification ... oh its the online casino one again.. oh good.. I hadn't seen that post in about 6 hours...

re: Why your comments no longer automatically show

But if you look on the bright side most of the spam comments praise your site and you get the general feeling that they all love what you are posting. Though sometimes their English has some room for improvement :)
