In a previous blog post I showed you some changes we have made to the SMB protocol in Windows Server 2008 and Windows Vista. To continue this series I wanted to share with you some more changes we have made in the area of file services. In this screencast I’m going to talk to you about the changes we have made to the Distributed File System or DFS-R and DFS-N and show you how to move your SYSVOL replication over to DFS-R for replication. Lastly I’ll show you some of the new tools for managing file servers in Windows Server 2008.
