This week I've been in Kuala Lumpur speaking at Teched SEA 2007 which is our Teched event for South East Asia.  I'm sorry I haven't been able to blog a daily diary but it's been a busy week.  This year the event was at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre and there were about 2500 attendees from all over south east Asia.  I did 2 sessions focusing on Scalable Networking and Branch Office Solutions in Windows Server 2008.  The is my third Teched in the last month and the first one in the Asia region.

I had a lot of fun and it was a different experience than the Teched's in Australia and New Zealand.  For one the scores for all speakers were much lower which apparently just how they score over here.  Not to worry.  I thought I did a good job.

It was also a good chance to catch up with my mates from the Netherlands; Tony and Daniel and Maria from Singapore.  Thanks for the fun guys!smile_regular

And of course this year Malaysia is celebrating 50 years of nationhood which is kind of cool.  I've never been to KL but it's a nice place.  Check out Virtual Malaysia if you are thinking of heading over here for a holiday.

And of course now I am on my way to Seattle to have dinner with Bill Gates.  Yes after 20 years of service I get a dinner with Bill.  So today I'm flying from KL to Seattle via Singapore, Hong Kong and San Francisco.  A long road ahead.

So see you at the other end of this trip with more updates from Seattle..
