If you live in the Brisbane area and have an interest in the SharePoint Technologies then get along to the Brisbane SharePoint User Group.  This group is run by Adam Clark and is one of our newer groups to get up and running.  So help support this new community by getting along to the meetings and participating in the discussions.  If anything you’ll get some free lunch so it can’t be all bad.  Details of the next meeting are below.

Session 1 – Cool Web Parts

As an experienced SharePoint developer who has worked on a number of SharePoint sites for various clients Kristian Kasling will be showing us some of the very cool customisations and variations that can done within SharePoint.

Session 2 – SharePoint Customisation using Front Page

James Milne who has worked with SharePoint for some time now, has also had some great experience in customisation SharePoint (in particular the UI) through the use of Microsoft Front Page.  In this session James is going to give us some tips on what can and cannot be done to SharePoint though the use of Front Page.

Of course the venue details are:

Originally the group met in the evenings but that was getting a bit hard for some of the members so Adam is trying out a lunchtime session to see if that fits into everyone schedule a bit better.
