  • Hey Jason,

Great screencast! Just wanted to point out that in addition to the steps you have in there, you have to enable the GPO "Allow signed updates from an intranet Microsoft update service location" setting in order for the clients to accept updates not signed by Microsoft. I would get the bubble all the time that says updates are ready to install and then it would "fail". Not until I enabled this GPO setting did the 3rd party updates install.

  • Thank you Jason, this was done before recording the screencast I just forgot to mention it.  I've talked about this requirement in other blog articles and screencasts.

  • Hi Jason

I have a question posted earlier on the SCCM Forums here-->social.technet.microsoft.com/.../6822d88d-bfca-46d1-a137-44670ff13368

Would request you to kindly help me get answer to it, my question is "I want to deploy a .MST (Transform file) along with my .MSI / .MSP file. How can I achieve this with SCUP 2011 and SCCM 2007."

    Regards
