  • If the signing cert is changed and the trust is lost... what are the manual steps to remove the remaining custom updates? That is if it is still possibility?

  • You would have to manually re-create the update discribed here: blogs.technet.com/.../how-to-remove-orphaned-scup-updates.aspx

  • I also changed the cert without expiring the updates, also I deleted them from SCUP 2011 console. Now with new cert I am not able to deploy those updates. When I am trying to publish them with new cert it throwing certificate conflict error.

    Please suggest.

  • You can resign those updates still in WSUS, if you can get them back into SCUP.
