&lt;p&gt;It's been in IE for age&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;IE 8 does a better job of it though with each tab being isolated&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;You can even customise the time out before it pops up the message&lt;/p&gt;
