As a software company we have a big part to play by providing the tools and guidance with which to be as efficient as possible when it comes to doing IT. We’ve just launched a new website that talks about what Microsoft is doing to help things and also for providing useful information for other companies who run computers (I’m guessing that’s most) to make sure they are doing the most to reduce their carbon footprint.

Find out more about best practices for power management in Windows Vista applications.
Discover the potential energy savings available in Windows Vista deployment.
I also found a useful article on the power saving capabilities of Windows Server 2008 too and it looks like Dynamics AX can help you plan the impact of your business on the environment and figure out ways to be more efficient.
