  • Tech Ed Australia 2010 Call for Topics – submissions closing 12 June

    The Tech Ed Australia 2010 Call for Topics tool is open until 12 June, so now’s the time to submit that great idea for a session.

    All the way through the process you’ll be able to review your submission and track its status.

    Just remember, this is only the second time we’ve opened up the Call for Topics publically like this and we’re likely to receive many more proposals than we’ve got slots to fill, so please don’t be disappointed if your submission isn’t selected.

  • Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 Beta available end of July

    Announced at TechEd North America:
    “Public beta of service pack 1 (SP1) for Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7 coming by end of July. The new virtualization tools in SP1 will help Windows Server 2008 R2 users prepare for cloud computing, Remote FX provides rich 3-D graphical experience for remote users, and Dynamic Memory enables more control to adjust memory usage without sacrificing performance. The service pack also will include a series of incremental updates, previously delivered through Windows Update, for both Windows Server and Windows 7 users.”
