System Center Service Manager (SCSM) is now available for download from Microsoft Connect. Integrating tightly with existing Microsoft offerings from the System Center family as well as Windows, Office and Visual Studio, SCSM will deliver a full range of "Service Desk" capabilities, backed up by a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) that will deliver a comprehensive view across your IT infrastructure and services. With beta 1 now released, it's the ideal time to begin evaluating the forthcoming capabilities of SCSM and looking ahead to a truly integrated set of service management tools. • I have installed the beta product on one of our virtual machines here in the office. I'm impressed so far, however I don't see a web interface?? I'm assuming there will be a web interface or maybe SharePoint intergration in the future?

  • Hi biggamejames - bit of a slow response this one, but I've been on holiday for a couple of weeks ;-D  Rumour has it that the web interface may well be included in the next beta release, so watch this space [RH]
