You can install both the Attendant and the Lync Client on the same box, but you can not run them at the same time!

  • i think you meant Lync Attendee and/or Lync 2010 Client?

    Attendant is the server side component. Attendee is the client side application.

  • Hey Sarbjit, actually the Attendee is for external users to allow for audio and video conferencing. The attendant console is for someone like a receptionist or security desk to monitor and park/forward calls to other Lync users.
