Is kerberos a default service on any LDS server?

I have my instance of LDS installed on a 2008 box and I cannot see the krbr service running.

Wouldn't it have just been easier to use Novell Identity Manager??? Would have taken less time too.

Be careful with using sidHistory when using classes which us the Proxy Bind ability which I tried to outline here:

Also I would recommend sticking to inheriting any userproxy class from an existing user class using a custom schema since most 3rd party applications expect and unfortunately hard code the objectclass=user in their app.

For a situation like that you could use a synonym

The synonym allows you to create an alias for another object. This would work great if they wouldn't allow you to rename the database (a distinct possibility)
