For those who use our SharePoint-based Productivity Hub, the May content package is now available for download with new content for Office 2007, Windows 7, and Internet Explorer 8. Yes – it is the May update even though it's June now. We were delayed getting the content package out because we were hard at work on the new 2010 Productivity Hub! That version should be released in about a week; watch the blog for an announcement when it's ready.
Here are some details to tide you over:
In this post you indicated that the 2010 Productivity Hub would be available in about a week. I was checking and haven't seen anything post regarding the release of the new Productivity Hub. Can you give an update on the status of the 2010 Productivity Hub?
I have hosted a copy of the 2010 Productivity Hub here www.spsdemo.com/.../productivity
Download the Productivity Hub from http://bit.ly/prodhub
I must say that I'm very happy with the new 2010 template and think it is a big improvement over the old 2007 version. The content is awesome as always...
Hi Suzanne - Do you have an ETA on the 2010 Productivity Hub?
Suzanne, do you have an estimated delivery date for Office 2010 content in the 2007 Productivity Hub?
Yes, this is available now!
How can I load Office 2010 into the 2007 Productivity Hub? Are there directions available to do this
You can download Content Packages 1 & 2 into your 2007 v1 or v2 Hub, available in the Download Center. If you are using v3, it already contains 2010 content. If you are using an earlier version, you can upload the content manually.
I am downloading the Productivity Hub 2010 to build our site. Do I need all the content files listed on the download page or does the March 2011 files contain everything?
At minimum, you should download both ContentPack-1 and ContentPack-2. Each of the additional content packages build upon those core pieces. While they aren’t necessary, they do contain materials that aren’t in the base content packs.
When will we have a content pack for Office 2013 and Office 365? Many customers use this site as their primary training site, so more current content packs would be helpful.
