I called MS about 2783767. The guy on the phone told me the hotfix doesn't exist. He said he doesn't know why the article is there.

Where can you get the hotfix from? The article explains it but there is nowhere to download it from.

Hi Ed,

"Hotfix rollup" and "update rollup" are exactly the same thing. Generally speaking, a "Hotfix rollup" KB contains multiple updates and it will not replace the old one.

Hi. Actually, nothing specific with "hotfix rollup". There is "hotifix" and "update rollup". They don't specifically say anything about replacements. Not being picky.

How is "hotfix rollup" defined? I took a look at a few KBs and for every single one, the new KB didn't replace any other KB. I would figure a "rollup" would be like a quasi service pack [as in it would take care of a bunch of other hotfixes that were previously released].
