&lt;p&gt;At very beginning, we categorize the Windows products by cluste: Windows Client (Desktop) and Windows Server. Therefore, SMS/SCOM/MOM will be merged to Windows Server.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;However, when it comes to Windows Vista or Windwows Server 2008, both products share the same source code. So, the fixes for Vista can also be applied to Server 2008. Therefore, it's not very suitable to follow original category. And then, we category the Windows Products as Windows Legacy products (normal Windows 5.x) and Windows 6.0. In this case, the SMS/SCOM/MOM will fall to the products which they rely on...&lt;/p&gt;
