Hi Everyone,

 

Last week, 8 Windows legacy products related hot-fix KB articles were released, including 5 for Windows Server 2003, 2 for SMS, and 1 for System Center. Below are the details:

 

Windows Server 2003 - 5 KB articles:

·         954968  Subfolder file content on an upstream member does not match subfolder file content on downstream members in a DFSR configuration in Windows Server 2003 R2

·         955549  When you open an .rtf file that contains a MergeField field in a paragraph, indents that are added to the paragraph are not displayed in Windows Server 2003 and in Windows XP Professional x64 edition            

·         958353  After you install Windows Server 2003 SP2, you cannot obtain correct data from a database by using indexes that are based on the Serbian Latin collation or the Serbian Cyrillic collation

·         957390 A hotfix is available for Subsystem for UNIX-based Applications users to incorporate DST changes in Pakistan and in Morocco in 2008

·         960007 Error message when you run an application that makes "burst load" style activation requests and calls a server component through DCOM: "0x800706ba" or "0x800706bf

 

System Center - 1 KB article:

·         953817  The Administrator Console exits when you try to use the "Set Resolution State" option for an alert that is generated in System Center Operations Manager 2007 

 

Systems Management Server - 2 KB articles:

·         958157  Inaccurate software metering reports may be generated from Systems Management Server 2003 Service Pack 3-based primary site servers                           

·         959038  The execution of a task sequence that you create in System Center Configuration Manager 2007 may continue when a program in the task sequence returns a failure exit code
