Hi Buddies, In the first week of 2008, there were 4 Windows Vista and 2 Windows XP hot-fix KB articles released by us. The list is as below:

*Note, KB941050 is an article that require special user credential.

For the article KB944436, it is mentioned that a portable computer that has Windows Vista installed will encounter a low volume issue. In fact, this issue affects all the computers with low-powered speakers commonly found on laptops. A normal desktop that has low-powered speakers may also encounter this problem. If your computer happens to encounter this issue, you can also apply this fix for Windows Vista.

As alwasy, please feel free to submit your comments to us. We will check the comments and try our best to implement needed changes.

Best,
Cristy Mu

    For the KB articles 938715/945322, they are articles under spcecial confidentiality. So with out the confidentiality agreement, user will not see them online;

    For KB 943510, it is supposed to be published now. However, in internet, there are something wrong when I access it. Let me check why.

    Thanks for the feedback.

  • How can I get access to 941050? I've got a customer reporting that exact error.

  • Dave, for the KB 941050, you have to contact Microsoft support engineer for that, he/she will help to check whether the problem occur with your system is the same to the one mentioned in the article. Sorry for the inconvenience.
