道場のページでも確認できますが、アプリケーションプラットフォーム編の最終日程が終了いたしました。ご参加いただいた皆様、本当にありがとうございました。大阪開催で参加いただいた皆様はとても元気があって、またエネルギーを頂戴できた気がします。アプリ（Web）編は終了しましたが、また今後に関して検討する意欲が湧いています。まずは 松崎 と話してきた内容に関して補足をブログで書いたり、オンライン化することを進めていきたいと考えています。

年末に東京で始めてから足かけ3か月、各地区にお伺いして色々なお話をお聞きすることができました。

少し前に米国に出張してきたのですが、米国ではやはり専業化がより進んでいまして、運用は運用のプロが、開発は開発のプロが というのがすごく明確化しているのが現状です。同じエバンジェリストの人たちに各国の状況を聞いたところ、米国だけではなく、ヨーロッパ・オーストラリアでも同じような状況です。しかし、日本ではむしろなんでもお客様の要件に従ってビジネスをしている方が多く、どれをと選んでいる暇はなく毎日を過ごしている方がほとんどです。逆に言うとITで日常を変えてくれる人の立場というのはあいかわらず応援団であって、本流ではないのかと私は引き続き危惧を持っていたりします。数年後はどういう状況になっているんでしょうね。

実は 今まで開発とインフラの融合セッションはなかなかなくて、 すごく度胸の要るセミナーでした。自分たちの現場経験からこの辺を知りたいだろうなぁと予想はたてていたものの、業務アプリケーションのプラットフォームを構築する際の選択肢はすごく多く、カバーするテーマによって随分とお客様のお聞きになりたいことというのは幅が広いのを痛感するばかりでした。しかし、その辺を減算しても今までに無い視点でもあり、参加いただいた方からは非常に温かいお言葉と継続を希望いただいたことはすごく勇気づけられました。なので、今後も頑張っていけるなぁと思っているところです。

今後も松崎と私の制作物にご注目いただければと思います。そしてコメントもお寄せいただけますでしょうか。

[IT Pro Dojo] Thank you for attending the Weekend Dojo in Osaka

You can check out at the IT Pro Dojo page that the Application Platform version of the IT Pro Dojo is over, completeing all the scheduled sessions. Thank you to all the people who attended this Dojo around the country. The people who attended in Osaka were very powerful and motivated so I feel very motivated myself thanks to you. Application(Web) version has finished but I'd surely start thinking about another one. For the meanwhile I will write some additional things in this blog and will prepare to make it as a webcast etc. online.

We started out in Tokyo in the end of 2007. After 3 months of delivery, I was able to visit each area and also learned alot and heard alot from many people.

A little while ago, I visited Seattle and learned the situation in the U.S. and it seems that the specialty held by engineers are more clear there - IT Pros are the professionals who manage systems, Developers are the professionals who specialize in development. By asking evangelists around the world, not just U.S. but Europe/Australia seems to be the same. But in Japan, there are many engineers who fulfill the requirements of their customers in various areas for business and they don't have the choice of picking a specialized area and living a very busy life doing so. On the contrary, I feel that the engineers that change people's lives using IT are still in a supporting position and not mainstream - a strategic asset. I wonder how this will change in the next few years.

As a fact, there weren't any IT Pro & Developer combined sessions in the past and the seminar we did was a hell of a risky one for us. From our past experiences in the field, we forecasted that everyone wanted to hear something like this but the selection of how to build an application varies so much that we honestly felt that what the audience wants to hear is so wide range. But minusing those points, still I think it was a first of this kind and we heard many warm feedbacks and requests to continue really encouraged us. So I really feel we can keep it on.
