某チャンネルで27時間ものをやっていますが、やっぱりSMAPはすごいなと思います。それぞれの個人も光っていますが、相当忙しいだろうにうまく回っているのは日頃の「仲間」加減がいいんでしょうね。みんな頑張ってるんだけどなんか一緒に動いているマリアージュって言うんですかね、最高の組合せになってるんですよね。ちなみに天竺への旅をする一行の映画は私も見に行きました。(^。^)

で、日常を振り返るとやっぱりITをやっている人はみんな結構「一人（ぴん）」だったりしますよね。一方でコミュニティとかTech・Ed イベントみたいなところで知り合いを作れる機会というのは結構転がっていたりするわけで、コミュニティな発想を考えた最初の人たちはすごいなと感じてしまったりします。高添もよく言うし、私もそうなんですが、IT業界の人はお客様のお話を聞いて調理をする仕事の割りに意外とみんな人見知りな人が多い気がします。なので必然的に「仲間」を作るというのもアルコールが必要だったりします。日本の特徴はやっぱり会社に所属している技術者という雰囲気と動きでしょうね。

そういう意味だともっと「個」としての自分と他の技術者という関係を頑張って作ってみるというのを是非この機会に試みて欲しいなあと思います。Tech・Edに参加していただける方は是非「なまか」探しをメインテーマにしてみてください。それから横浜が厳しいという人は是非 日常で、あるいはIT Pro道場やMSDNオフラインで我々を「なまか」にしてください。よろしくお願いします。我々もそんな気持ちで日頃の仕事をさらにバージョンアップしていきたいとすごく思ってしまいました。（*^_^*）

[Other] We should take "friendship" more seriously in the IT industry

On one of the Japanese channels today, they were broadcasting a 27 hour marathon charity kind of program. I really thought that SMAP(Japanese dancing team, singing team) who was the main personality in this show is really talented. Not that all of them are individually great but even though they are so busy throughout the 27 hour program, they're making a really great show. What I think about this is that the way the team members treats each other and it must be the way they do it in every day life. Everybody is working hard but the "blend" is really working and the whole was great.

So let's think of *our* everyday life, and I think in the IT industry we are pretty "Alone." On the other hand there are great chances there where you can make friends and mates who do things normally just like your self at places like Tech Ed.  We work to hear customer requests but I think in Japan, alot of people are not good at speaking to another person for the first time - which is pretty different culture from U.S. I believe - even evangelists like Takazoe & I are in the depth we aren't that much good at this point actually. Naturally, Japanese communication is well done with some alchohol and good food altogether, it's a culture thing and one more, Japanese engineers are historicaly very loyal to their company and don't look so much outside their "region."

From this point of view, we should promote yourself more and also make relationships outside your company to stretch higher. If you're attending Tech・Ed, what about making the main theme "Making friends" ? And if you can't come to Yokohama, what about thinking this way in your normal life and come to IT Pro Dojo or MSDN offline to make us your friends. :-) The 27 hour charity program really encouraged me to think this way and will reflect to *our* normal life, getting things better and better.
