Thanks for pointing this out. The AD module in Windows Server 2012 nearly doubles the previous coverage. Unfortunately, the module version did not change. I am writing a blog post, See Feb. 19, 2013 where I introduce a function that can check for a specific command. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This cmdlet is only available on Windows Server 2012.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The ActiveDirectory module on Windows Server 2012 has 135 cmdlet compared to 76 on Windows 2008 R2.&lt;/p&gt;
