&lt;p&gt;good to know that there is a chance to supply reasonalbe default values!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;And I definitetly agree to your thoughts.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It is always a good idea to use parameters.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Defaults are helping you to omitt frequently used values.&lt;/p&gt;
