iTunes updated to v11 and now scripts don't seem to be able to write information anymore. I want to update description and track information but the writes are not changing the library. Thoughts?

Hi. I have windows 8 pro and my activex objects can no longer be created for itunes.application. What has changed? Tried all itunes version from 10.6 and up no luck.Please help! all my cool scripts no longer work without this object obviously.

TheNewGuy, the code in this post is vbscript so they are called using either cscript or wscript.

Sorry to sound like a newb, but what format do I save these scripts in? Are these applescripts? Do they need to be stored in a specific directory?
