&lt;p&gt;This is off the top of my head and you&amp;#39;ve probably already considered this, but why wouldn&amp;#39;t you call a script from the Startup folder or, even better, the Run key in the Registry, HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run or RunOnce.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;After hitting my head against the keyboard looking on the internets for the last several hours - it amazes me that there is no pointy-clicky way to do this.&lt;/p&gt;
