Summary: Use Windows PowerShell to find network adapters that are bound to TCP/IP v4.

Hey, Scripting Guy! Question How can I use Windows PowerShell on my computer running Windows 8.1 to find protocol binding
information about network adapters that are bound to TCP/IP v4?

Hey, Scripting Guy! Answer Use the Get-NetAdapterBinding function, and filter on the DisplayName parameter for
          things that look like *tcp/ipv4*:

Get-NetAdapterBinding -DisplayName *IPv4*

  • Why not filter on the ComponentID?
    Get-NetAdapterBinding -ComponentID ms_tcpip
