Learn about Windows PowerShell
Summary: Learn how to easily document DSN names by using Windows PowerShell.
How can I use Windows PowerShell to find what DSN names are defined on my system?
On your computer running Windows 8.1, use the Get-OdbcDsn function.
This doesn't seem to work on XP.
You will only find this cmdlet and the Wdac module on Windows 8, 8.1, Server 2012, and Server 2012 R2.
