Hey, Scripting Guy! Question How can I use Windows PowerShell to display applets from within the Control Panel?

  • Wow - That means we do not have to type:  "compmgmt.msc" anymore.

  • It looks awesome. To bad it is not supported in Windows 7. I just tested it on my Windows 8 test PC and it is a nice little cmdlet to know about :)

  • Come on, JRV, you're trolling. You know looking at a service isn't the same as looking at the control panel itself.

  • @Robert you are right. In February everything looks different. We do not get a control panel service with this like way back in October. Now we get a GUI filled with all kinds of GUI boxes.
