Learn about Windows PowerShell
Summary: Learn how to find all modules on a system by using Windows PowerShell.
How can I find all of the modules on my system by using Windows PowerShell?
Use the Get-Command cmdlet and specify all of the modules. Pipe the results to the Group-Object cmdlet, and sort the results to make it easier to read, as shown here.
Get-Command -Module * | Group-Object module -NoElement | sort-object name
what's wrong with get-module -listavailable?
Thanks for the great information
yup i agree, use Get-Module -ListAvailable. Although i did learn about the Group-Object cmdlet, Thanks!
