In the past, the TechNet Subscriptions team worked with the IT Evangelists in the United States (that’s me and my peers) to offer discounts for new TechNet Subscriptions. We were able to offer discounts for about 2 years. Last year, the discounts went away because there were changes being made to the program. Also, if we offer perpetual discounts, is that really a discount or should the price just drop permanently? I think you know the answer to that one – hence why the discounts went away for a little while.
I’ve got good news to announce regarding a new offer for new TechNet Subscriptions!
The offer is slightly different than in the past so please do read carefully.
Offer Period: March 7, 2011 through June 30, 2011 Offer description: Sign up for a new one year TechNet Subscription Professional and get an additional three months free for a total of 15 months.
NOT Valid for:
This is NOT a discount that immediately saves you money for the 12 month subscription, but does have a value of of $87.25 – that’s the cost of 3 months of the $349 annual fee.
To take advantage of this, please use Promotion Code: TN3MNA01 when signing up. To make it easier, just click here and the code will be prefilled for you. Feel free to pass this along to your friends. Thanks!

<p>Any chance, there's an offer for Australians?</p>
<p>Sorry for calling you Harry, I don't know where that came from.</p>
<p>To clarify my previous question, is there a similar offer in Australia? With the subscription price for Technet Professional Download at AUD $618.00. A lot of Australians would welcome some reduction in the price of this subscription.</p>
<p>Unfortunatley, this offer is only available in the United States. </p>
<p>I won't hold the "Harry" thing against you. :-)</p>
<p>Could you tell me if there are any promotions going on for the standard subscription?</p>
<p>Really sad to see that a discount is no longer being offered. I was looking to sign up for my first technet subscription but the price is just too high! Also it looks like they changed the number of licenses for the standard subscription down to 2 which pretty much makes it usless at least in my opinion.</p>
<p>Terry: No, the only promotion I have at my disposal is this one for the Professional version.</p>
<p>Mike: Sorry you aren't happy with the options available.</p>
<p>This code did not work for me. I am in the US; the subtotal price remained at $349.</p>
<p>I'm interested in this Technet subscription. It will be my first time, but the price is a bit high. 3 Extra months isn't a great offer for first timer. I think most of us (new/wanting to be a subscriber) like the discount more than the 3 months.</p>
<p>My suscription expired and i didnt had the money at time of renewal what can i do, please advise </p>
