Boy I needed this today...

So we had a thread today about why a customer's email didn't get sent to a recipient that it was intended to,  then Steve Wannenmacher replied:

"Yeah, I've heard of something like it, waaaayy back in the OL98 days.  Back in those days, nickels had pictures of bumblebees on 'em. 'Give me five bees for a quarter,' you'd say... Now where were we? Oh yeah--the important thing was I had an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time. They didn't have white onions because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big yellow ones...

We'd get a mis-indexed OAB on one client, and a message sent from that client would be delivered to the wrong recipient.  Can't for the life of me find the old bug, but I'm pretty sure bpipal found it.  I haven't heard of it in the past few years.

Man, after the crappy day I had today, it sure felt good to laugh so hard.  Thanks Steve.

  • Steve is my hero. I hope one day that he fathers my children. I know we're both men, but one can dream, can't one?

  • Let me know if you need the bug number.
