When you try to type a dot symbol (.) in a text box or in a page note in a PowerPoint 2010 presentation, a comma (,) is typed unexpectedly. This issue occurs when the following conditions are true:

The format of the region on the computer is set to French (France) or French (Belgium).

You set an AZERTY French mapped keyboard that uses a dot symbol as the decimal separator on the numeric keypad as your keyboard. For example, you set a French (Belgian) keyboard or a French (Default) keyboard as your keyboard.

INTRODUCTION

Consider the following scenario:

You have a computer that is running one of the following operating systems:

Windows Vista

Windows Server 2008

Windows 7

Windows Server 2008 R2

You configure the value of the MoveSecurityAttributes registry subkey to 0 on the computer.

Note You can configure the MoveSecurityAttributes registry subkey in the following location:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MoveSecurityAttributes

You move a folder from one location into a folder in another location on the same NTFS volume.

In this scenario, the folder and all files in it may contain some Access Control Entries (ACEs) associated with the previous location. After you perform the previous steps, the expected result is that the folder and all files in it only contain the ACEs associated with the new location. This behavior is known as "Copy File Semantics" and is enabled in Windows Server 2003 by using the previously mentioned registry subkey.

Long logon time when you establish an RD session to a Windows Server 2008 R2-based RD Session Host server if Printer Redirection is enabled

KB Article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2655998

INTRODUCTION

Consider the following
scenario:

You have a Windows Server 2008 R2-based Remote Desktop (RD) Session Host server in an Active Directory domain environment.

You apply the Printer Redirection Group Policy setting to RD sessions that connect to the server.

You repeatedly establish RD sessions to the server from a client computer that has multiple printers installed.

In this scenario, the logon time increases every time that you establish an RD connection. Additionally, the % Privileged Time count increases in the Svchost.exe process that hosts the User-mode Plug-and-Play Service (Umpnpmgr.dll) on the server. This behavior occurs every time that you log on, log off, or reestablish an RD session.

This behavior may cause performance issues such as slow boot, slow logon, system hangs, or failure to redirect printers and mapped drives.

A hotfix is available that lets users disable the functions of the Personal Stationery dialog box in Outlook 2010

KB Article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2597038

Consider the following scenario

You have mapped Network Printers for the user.

You make this user profile as DEFAULT using KB 973289 How to customize default user profiles in Windows 7

You run Sysprep to deploy a Windows 7 image using sysprep –audit and sysprep –oobe (System Out-of-Box Experience)

UAC (User Access Control) is enabled.

On a Windows-based server that is running Windows Internet Explorer, you install an Internet Explorer cumulative security update that is greater than MS07-045 (KB937143). In this case, when you use any web browser to browse that server, you receive the following error message:

Server
object error 'ASP 0177 : 8000ffff'

Server.CreateObject Failed

<FileName>.asp, line <LineNumber>

8000ffff

This problem occurs if a website that you browse is an Active Server Pages (ASP) page that calls a .NET-managed component.

Note This .NET-managed component uses .NET interop functionality.

Pasted region in an Excel 2010 workbook is printed in low quality

KB Article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2596574

After you print preview the workbook, print the workbook, or save the workbook as a .pdf or .xps file, the size or position of the ActiveX control is changed.

Connection to a network document is lost in the 2007 Office system or in Office 2010 after the computer resumes from standby

KB Article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2626998

INTRODUCTION

Consider the following scenario. You access a 2007 Microsoft Office system or Microsoft Office 2010 document that is located on a network share. Your computer enters standby. Then, you resume the computer from standby. In this scenario, you receive an error message. For example, if you are working with Office Word, the error message resembles the following:

Word cannot establish a network connection with this document after the system resumed from suspend mode. Save the document into a different file to keep any changes.

Additionally, you cannot update the document and then save it back to the network share when the network location is available.

WPF browser-hosted applications (XBAPs) may crash during start up

KB Article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/972928

Consider the following
scenario. By default, Exchange Search is enabled for a mailbox database in a Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 environment. You use Microsoft Outlook in online mode to search a mailbox for a keyword or phrase that contains a single letter or a single digit. In this scenario, you receive the following error message even though there are matches for the keyword in the mailbox:

No matches found for "keyword".

Additionally, the following event is logged in the Application log:
