  • Can someone please help me with this Office 2010 issue, i have a school program that is only operational with office 2010. So, if i cant download Office, i cannot run Keyboarding Pro Deluxe program. I have tried all the fixes that are related to this situation. And still only able to install half the program and then receive the "1920" ERROR... So please help thank you.

  • Does not work.  Doesn't anyone test this stuff?

  • Have tried to install office 2010, multiple times, get error 1920. I have run fixit..and it still will not install. I downloaded the fixit application as founc currupt registry files and corrected. Still will not instal. Fails in set up. I also can not instal microsoft security essentials. Please help.

  • Same here. Now, after trying to FIXIT, etc., I can't open my old Outlook because "MAPI32.DLL is corrupt or the wrong version. This could have been caused by installing other messaging software. Please reinstall Outlook." Lovely. )-:

  • I tried the FixIt solution for this problem and it did not work. I am using Windows 7 64-bit.

  • For Windows XP go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\ and right click on the folder “OfficeSoftwareProtectionPlatform” then click Properties. Go to the Security tab and add the user to the Group or user names and give them "Full Control".

  • Open Run (Press Windows key + R) > type services.msc and click on OK

On the services MMC window right-click on Office Software Protection Platform and select Properties

Select the LOG ON tab > change the ‘Log on as’ information from ‘This Account’ (Network Service) to ‘Local System Account’

    Click on Apply and OK

  • i see that this service is started form scheduled tasks. %systemroot%\system32\sc.exe start osppsvc, as SvcRestartTask, Is this related also to "Click To Run" Update for Microstoft Office Starter 2010 ?
