MOICE must be the registered handler for each supported document format.

Solution Information

This Fix it Solution automates enabling and disabling Microsoft Office Isolated Conversion Environment (MOICE) for all supported document formats automatically.

  • Doesn't work! I tried it 4 times and PowerPoint still doesn't open.

  • will this help with an error message of MSVCR80.dll missing in my powerpoint viewer?

  • Having the problem trying to open .xlsx files in Excel 2007.  It gives me the error that it failed to convert.  Tried the fix-it solution to disable MOICE and I still can't click on an .xlsx file to open it. I have to open Excel first THEN open the .xlsx file.    I can open .xls files fine by clicking on them.
