After you download MPSReports, just run it and follow the steps in the wizard to collect diagnostic information.
Select This Computer to collect diagnostic information.
Note To download Microsoft .NET Framework or Powershell requirements to install on another computer, select Another Computer.
Select the diagnostics that you want to run.
The data collection may take some time, depending on your system configuration.
Select what you want to do with the results.

This is a great idea, albeit I've not found the tool I need to fix my O. E. 6
"new message problem".
Upon opening a "new mail" in O.E. 6 a partial page opens with the top of the page showing ok and the bottom showing whatever is already open at that time.
Did all the problems with O.E. pop up suddenly? because I don't remember anything previously being wrong.
Thanks for your help
Mary
Good improvement in the tool! Is there an easy way to view the results? When I open the XML file it opens in IE, and appears to have formatting instructions in the code but simply shows raw XML code.

Horribly to see, that MPSReports now needs MS Powershell v1.0 to create Reports.
It makes a lot of fun, that there is the need to install Powershell first, if a critical server got a problem :(
There should be a fully complied executable file without the need of installed components, which also could have problems!
Well, might be a good tool, though the installation requirements for 2003 Servers are way to high. - I don't understand if selecting "Another computer" I only get information about the other computers .NET Framework or Powershell requirements. As one hasn't entered a target computer, this couldn't have been tested at that point and not "next" button is available. I have to assume this feature is not working; and I would have wished a much better explanation than this article. This is not helpful.
