It’s time for the weekly sales event known as the Red Stripe Deals, which saves you at least 50 percent off six apps, indie games and Xbox titles in the Windows Phone Store. The latest batch includes creepy fairs, a drawing game and lifelike bowling.
“Dark Arcana: The Carnival (Full)” ($1.49, regularly $2.99) transports you into a mysterious Carnival of Horrors where you must find a missing woman, while moving between the known world and a mysterious, alternate dimension. For a more grounded experience, try “Carcassonne” (99 cents, regularly $2.99), where you place tiles to create a landscape of roads, cities and fields. Then you fill them with knights, monks, farmers and more. “Action Bowl 2” (99 cents, regularly $1.99) comes with new and improved physics that provide all the nuances of professional bowling – along with outrageous curve shots and explosive competition pin action.
Lock Widgets 99 cents, regularly $1.99) adds weather and battery info to your Lock screen in a clean, minimal design. In “Duudle” (99 cents, regularly $2.99) you draw, and your friends race to guess what you’ve created. Finally, “Mini Dash” (99 cents, regularly $1.99) gives players a frenetic race through the trap-filled levels of a blobby little yellow runner.
