Here in most of the U.S., it’s not a good time to brave the elements for a jog outside, with polar vortexes and other climatic anomalies. But with the Fun Runners collection at the Windows Phone Store, you can get your heart rate pumping through nearly two dozen endless-runner games. As an added bonus, more than half of them are free.
In this collection you’ll find favorites like “Temple Run 2,” the sequel to its smash hit predecessor in which you do a lot more than running with obstacles such as perilous cliffs, mines and forests ahead of you as you try to escape with a cursed idol. “Subway Surfers” places you above parallel, racing subway cars, dodging and dashing over and between them as best you can. For fans of “Despicable Me,” the “Minion Rush” game indulges your wish to become a little yellow Minion. You compete with other Minions in hundreds of fast-paced challenges. (Don’t be surprised if you find yourself laughing as much as playing in this one.)
If you’re up for some secret-agent assignments from the world of TV’s “Phineas and Ferb,” join “Agent P” and his fellow agents as you all chase the evil Dr. Doofenshmirtz and save the small town of Danville. Or maybe you’d rather take your mission to the stars? “Space Heads” is a Manga-inspired game set in a spaceship where you choose a pilot and navigate through tunnels filled with gems, collectables and dangerous obstacles.
Find these games and many more in the Windows Phone Store’s Fun Runners collection.
