Each week, we bring you a new app recommendation from one of our colleagues. This week’s Staff App Pick comes from Erin Jacobs, a senior marketing manager at Microsoft.
I’ve got two little munchkins at home. And by munchkins, I mean two-year-old twin girls. I do my best to focus their “screen time” on positive things like the Guru PlaySchool app for Windows 8. It’s designed especially for 2-6 year old kids, and it keeps the girls tuned in and entertained while they learn and create.
The app takes a multi-sensory approach to learning, using music, encouraging sounds, real life pictures and amazing 10 finger touch experiences—all while helping to build their vocabulary. And there are no ads. We all LOVE it!
