Kids aren’t the only ones who are continuing their education as summer ends and the school year begins. As Skype’s Workspace Blog puts it, “We often hear from many in the Skype for Business community about their desire to continue to keep learning and growing, too… A growing number of enterprising small businesses offer a huge range of educational opportunities via Skype.”
The blog post advises small businesses to try out coaching – which could mean guidance on everything from writing business plans to marketing your business to setting prices and invoicing. Business owners can also learn another language to be able to operate internationally. There’s a previous Skype blog post on “teachers who provide language instruction on Skype; nearly any new language you want to learn – Mandarin, French, Italian – could be on your schedule this fall.”
This blog post ends with one more tip: being a business owner doesn’t mean it has to be all about business. It’s ok to exercise some artistic inclinations, too. Learn to play instruments on Skype video, or paint, or even how to knit.
Read the Workspace Blog to get all the details and keep your biz skills sharp and relevant.
