Kevin joined Exchange in 1997 just in time to ship Exchange 5.5, after convincing Microsoft that a nuclear physicist would be an ideal software engineer. The jury is still out on that, but in the meantime he has worked on Exchange performance and forensics (dead servers do tell tales), and most recently has been a developer on the Exchange Support Tools Team (this team works on things like the ExBPA tool). When not working he's probably biking or reading obscure nineteenth century literature.
