One of the most rewarding aspects of working for Microsoft is Virtual Teaming. The way different teams overlap with a common goal, getting to know new people in other teams and learn from their usually vast knowledge is something that you just cannot put a price on.

During my last v-team meeting yesterday, Ben Creasey from OrderWork.co.uk came in and pitched their new new Skill Finder Tool. Many of you have asked me - do you know of any decent MCP developers that could do X,Y, Z piece of work? Orderwork offer a vetted list of Microsoft Partners with particular development skills. You can submit a work order and this portal will come back with a list of possible suppliers. This may not be suitable for everyone but it could well fill a particular skills gap where you need something done quickly & professionally. It has shortfalls of course, it does not yet include the offshoring market - it is currently limited to UK Partners only, but it is a great place to start.
