I liked this article. It includes lots of speculative numbers but the overall message is -  the perception of Microsoft SQL Server has changed and grown in the marketplace.

``I sleep well at night knowing one of my key projects is tied in with Microsoft,'' said Gary Greenwald, who runs Citigroup's business that produces information tools for clients. ``Years ago, perhaps people would have had trouble saying that.''

When the author, Dina Bass, called Oracle spokesman Bob Wynne seeking comment, the calls weren't returned. IBM spokesman Chris Andrews said there is ``growing interest'' in Microsoft's products.
