This is a pretty common question I get with my education customers. The answer is there is not one tool that can calculate everything for your Office 365 bandwidth but there is an Exchange calculator, Lync calculator and some guidance for SharePoint bandwidth.

This calculator is pretty extensive as it accounts for mail usage profiles, etc:
It also allows you to calculate bandwidth needed for each site depending on what client type Mac, Outlook 2010, OWA, etc.

Lync 2010 and 2013 bandwidth calculator
This is a pretty awesome bandwidth calculator where you can provide site by site calculations for Lync bandwidth required.
You can specify locations, users, type of users, concurrency, etc.
Lync calculator also has nice graphics showing bandwidth requirements per location, etc.

I haven’t found a calculator on this for SharePoint 2013 but I did find a reference matrix from SharePoint 2010 which should be enough for a baseline estimate for SharePoint Online – I did read that SharePoint 2013 bandwidth can be up to 40% more efficient than the results below so take that into account in your estimations:

Hi Mark,I'm looking for a Lync Online bandwidth calculator. The tool Lync 2010 and 2013 BW calculator 2.0 does not support Lync Online (this deployment option is disabled).Do you have any BW calculator specific to Lync Online?Thanks
Hi Guilherme,I haven't found one yet however the Lync 2013 calculator should be close to provide you an estimation of amount of bandwidth needed for audio/video, IM , conferencing traffic as that should remain at least in the general ballpark whether Lync Online or Lync server traffic. If you read the Lync bandwidth documentation it states:Although there are similarities between how the Lync client works in on-premise and online deployments, there are also significant differences in how certain modalities are used (for example, public switched telephone network (PSTN) audio). We are planning to include the functionality for modeling bandwidth requirements for Lync Online deployments in a future release of the bandwidth calculator.
Hi Mark,How do you go about capacity planning for the OneDrive? I've not had any hands on experience with this yet, but our company is soon to roll this out to a significant number of users. My concern is the amount of shared bandwidth a user might consume on an already poor ADSL service should he/she accidentally or intentionally drop a large file in their OneDrive. Is the bandwidth the OneDrive uses to sync with the cloud configurable or does it just use what is available? Also, if I was working on a file and then made a minor modification, would the OneDrive be smart enough to just sync the changes or would the entire file have to be uploaded/sync'd again?I don't have any real hands on experience with this, just lots of questions regarding network impact.Do you know of any useful reference materials for estimating bandwidth for this?Thanks,Darren
