Exchange Offline Address Book is not being updated

We got reports from folks who published Outlook Anywhere through UAG and noticed their (apparently large) Offline Address Book (OAB) is not being updated.

David Bahat from our test team came up with the following procedure that solves the problem.

After you have published Exchange, open Advanced Trunk configuration -> Click the Portal Tab –> Click the Edit button of the Do not parse the response bodies option:

Select the relevant Exchange Client Access Server (e.g. EX01BE10) –> Click the Add button in the URLs group box

Add the /OAB.* expression

Save and activate the configuration.

    this seems not working with Exchange 2010 SP1 + CU 1

  • uag 2010sp1 + exchange 2010sp1 and finding OAB not downloading if going thru UAG.  Any suggestions?
