The event is aimed at both VAR (resellers) and ISV partners – there are tracks for sales, business, consultants, technical training, and guided hands-on labs. You can meet Microsoft’s development teams, product group, partner teams, support and country representatives. This is your unique opportunity to share input and customer feedback with Microsoft.

Microsoft Dynamics Sure Step Online Project Wizard enables the ability to create specific Sure Step projects in a partner or customer’s SharePoint environment all from within their own SharePoint environment. In Sure Step, projects are a collection of documents, tools, and templates that is automatically generated based upon filtering criteria selected. When creating a new project, Sure Step Online will retrieve the latest Sure Step content ensuring projects are always up to date. Some key facts include:
· Projects can be created for specific Sure Step Project Types, a specific Microsoft Dynamics Product and Solution. New projects will contain copies of all Sure Step documents applicable to these criteria.
· Projects are editable. You can customize them to leverage your own best practices, to make them customer- or solution-specific.
· Projects can be copied, or “cloned“ from within SharePoint using SharePoint functionality.
· There is no limit to the number of projects you can create. A new project can be initiated for each engagement.
· Each time a project is created using the wizard, the latest content available from Microsoft Dynamics Sure Step Online will be retrieved.
· Projects can be created in SharePoint On-Premise and SharePoint Online.
This release marks the end of any further enhancements to the downloadable Sure Step client; no further client or content enhancements will be made to Microsoft Dynamics Sure Step 2012. Going forward all new updates will be made available only to Microsoft Dynamics Sure Step Online.

Microsoft Dynamics Sure Step is a standard implementation methodology and collection of tools, templates, and best practices to use in all phases of a Microsoft Dynamics customer engagement. Sure Step also provides many process flow diagrams that visually illustrate each phase of the implementation. The Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 demo images do contain Management Reporter. However, as it turns out, not configured to work with the Dynamics AX installation…
In order to correct this get the “Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Provider for Service Pack 2” here.
Unpack on the image and run the X64 msi file. Then as mentioned in the DynAX2012DataProvInstGuide import the xpo and follow the rest of the installation procedure.
Then you can create in MR the companies from the Dynamics AX installation.

For some time now i get repeatedly asked for more information on our cloud offerings (from a technical starting point). With this post we would like to help you to get started on the inforrmation sources which are available for you.
Cloud computing is here. Running applications on machines in an Internet-accessible data center can bring plenty of advantages. Yet wherever they run, applications are built on some kind of platform. For on-premises applications, this platform usually includes an operating system, some way to store data, and perhaps more. Applications running in the cloud need a similar foundation. The goal of Microsoft's Windows Azure is to provide this.

Het Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 R2 v2 image op partnersource blijkt Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 niet geinstalleerd te hebben. Net als ik zullen de meesten van ons nog wel huiverig zijn om iets wat werkt, je niet zelf geïnstalleerd hebt en toch niet aan het Internet komt zomaar te updaten.
Maar omdat het een Hyper-V image is kun je een snapshot maken van de werkende situatie om vervolgens er op los te gaan. Mocht het mis gaan kun je altijd nog terug naar het snapshot.Kortom volledige Windows Update gedraaid met Windows Server SP1 en geen problemen. Alles werkt.
Voordeel wat ik nu heb is dat ik dynamisch memory in kan stellen voor het image en het ook gebruiken. Zonder SP1 in het image gaat dat niet. De Hyper-V in SP1 stelt je in staat, als het image eenmaal up en running is om nog meer images te laden die dan afhankelijk van hun werkelijke behoefte memory consumeren. Op die manier kan het DYNAMICS-01 image met NAV erop meer memory gebruiken dan het DYNAMICS-02 image waar Exchange op zit om af en toe wat mail uit te wisselen tijdens de demo. Maar je hebt het image wel nodig. Kan nu met minimale memory wat het systeem zelf bepaalt.

In klantverzoeken komt het nog wel eens voor dat gevraagd wordt of de source code beschikbaar is en of dat voor de Certified for Microsoft Dynamics (CfMD) oplossing ook geldt. Zetadocs Express for Microsoft Dynamics NAV makes it possible to store original documents associated with Microsoft Dynamics NAV records, such as emails, faxes and scanned documents, securely in one central location for quick and easy retrieval using Microsoft SharePoint Online. With this new feature, users are able to work more efficiently. It’s possible to automatically capture electronic documents by dragging and dropping the documents inside Microsoft Dynamics NAV. The documents can then be retrieved and viewed from within the Microsoft Dynamics NAV RoleTailored Client or from Microsoft SharePoint Online giving users greater flexibility in accessing stored documents. U bent ongetwijfeld bekend met de Microsoft Dynamics Partner Selector. Op zeer korte termijn zal de Partner Selector* plaatsmaken voor Microsoft Dynamics Marketplace. Dit betekent dat u vanaf nu Microsoft Dynamics Marketplace kunt gebruiken om uw Bedrijf, Professionele Services en/of Software Applicaties te vermarkten. Microsoft adviseert u zo spoedig mogelijk uw partnerprofiel en uw oplossingen te vermelden op Microsoft Dynamics Marketplace.
Hoe werkt Microsoft Dynamics Marketplace
Microsoft Dynamics Marketplace wordt gevoed door Microsoft Pinpoint. Daarin staan alle oplossingen die partners van Microsoft aanbieden, ook wanneer de oplossing niet is gebaseerd op Microsoft Dynamics producten. Het basisprofiel in Pinpoint is in dit geval ook de basis van uw vermelding op Microsoft Dynamics Marketplace. Daarom is de eerste stap een juiste vermelding op Microsoft Pinpoint.
De oplossingen zullen getest dienen te worden middels een Microsoft Platformtest (CRM) of via Lionbridge (CRM en ERP). Voor de certificering “Certified for Microsoft Dynamics” (CfMD) van uw CRM en ERP oplossing, dient u zich eveneens te wenden tot Lionbridge. Indien u al over een CfMD oplossing beschikt, zal deze op Microsoft Dynamics Marketplace staan.

Starting the last weekend in October, 2011, Russia will no longer observe “Daylight Saving time” (DST) and will effectively remain on “summer time”. This change will require adjustments from companies throughout the technology and consumer electronics industry. While the elimination of DST in Russia directly affects those living in the Russian territory, the ramifications from a technology perspective are global.
